In
December, 1999, a great thing happened in Effingham, Illinois,
Kathleen Witkowski and Gerald Crisman established Dingo, Inc.
The partnership between Witkowski and Crisman was
formed as a result of their love of cooking and entertaining
people. Witkowski, who has more than 15 years of experience
in the food and beverage industry including owning and operating
her own catering business for the past eight years, brings a
wealth of experience in the food and beverage industry to the
corporation. Crisman, whose childhood nickname was Dingo, is
well known for his love of entertaining people, storytelling,
and outstanding culinary skills. The Pappy LeDeaux label features
a photo of Crisman.
The
product line, Pappy LeDeaux's Barbeque and Dipping Sauce -
"Unique" Country Style, Classic Sweet Smokehouse,
Bayou Burner, and Garlic Lovers is the first of several food
service items to be introduced under the Pappy LeDeaux name.
The Pappy LeDeaux product line is currently distributed by
Koerner Distributors in 47 counties in downstate Illinois,
but BBQ lovers all over the world can view and purchase Pappy
LeDeaux products on our website. Pappy is currently researching
and developing additional products that he hopes to introduce
to the retail market in the near future .
